Britten-Norman now offers factory refurbished aircraft
Due to demand, Britten-Norman now offers factory refurbished aircraft alongside their new aircraft sales and upgrades. This new initiative is kicked off with the acquisition of five Islander aircraft which will be available for onward sale from October 2006.
"Re-furbished Islanders give operators the opportunity to experience some of the many benefits associated with our product including; role versatility, STOL performance, short runway landing capabilities and low operating and through life costs. With a lower initial investment, the benefits of quick delivery and the option of an airframe warranty, we are certain that operator's will find this an excellent, low risk means of purchasing well maintained aircraft, said Ian Wilson, Sales Director.
The aircraft we have available have low airframe hours and have been maintained to manufacturer standard since purchase. The refurbishment programme will commence with the conversion to the UK civil register. The package will include the option to purchase a factory warranty, zero time engines and major components, all SB's including SB190 inspection (with fresh majors) and up to date Airworthiness Directives. Fly BN, the Group's spares, support and MRO company is also offering a full associated spares package.
Operators can choose from a number of options including paint schemes, interiors and avionics upgrades. More importantly the aircraft can be modified to suit any operator role from commuter, cargo and executive to mission specific roles such as border control.
As well as offering first class support to Britten-Norman operators, Fly BN's expertise extends to specialist maintenance, repair and overhaul for a variety of aircraft types including the Cirrus SR20 & 22. From its UK base, FBN maintains large inventories of aircraft spares which it distributes globally through BN Logistics and a network of strategic partners and subsidiaries.
