King Express Group Ltd Appointed Official AgustaWestland Distributor For Hong Kong and Macau
AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that King Express Group Limited has been appointed official distributor in Hong Kong and Macau for the complete range of AgustaWestland commercial helicopters. This three years distribution agreement includes the initial sale of nine aircraft comprising the AW119 Ke single turbine engine, the AW109 Power and the Grand light twins and the AW139 medium twin helicopter.
AgustaWestland continues to experience growing success in the commercial helicopter market in Asia and is rapidly expanding its presence both in Asia and elsewhere in the world with the appointment of official distributors and service centres. AgustaWestland's presence in the region is expected to grow further due to the growing market and multi-role capabilities of its modern range of high performance helicopters.
The AW119 is AgustaWestland's answer to worldwide current customer demand for a high performance, modern, multi-role single-engine helicopter.
The eight-place AW119 Ke can perform a wide range of commercial and public service roles. The AW109 Power is a highly versatile twin engine helicopter that is used for commercial and public service missions and has exceptional levels of performance with low operating costs. A new intermediate size helicopter with light twin economics developed to meet a variety of market requirements, the Grand provides levels of cabin space and payload that until now could only be met by larger, more expensive helicopters.
The AW139 is a new generation medium twin helicopter setting new standards against which all new medium twin will be measured. The AW139 features the most spacious cabin and the best power reserve compared to any other helicopter in its class, rapidly becoming the best selling aircraft in its category worldwide.
