BAE SYSTEMS AWARDED $18.6 MILLION U.S. NAVY CONTRACT FOR AUTOMATED FUEL HANDLING SERVICES
BAE SYSTEMS has been awarded an $18.6 million contract by the U.S. Navy to support a broad range of fuel facility automation projects for the Department of Defense and other agencies. The total value of the contract could reach $49.9 million, if all options are exercised. The contracting agency is the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C.
Under the contract, the company,s Electronic Systems business unit will provide services and supplies to support automated fuel handling equipment and fuel-related systems for Defense Fuel Support Center storage terminals and base-level fueling facilities worldwide.
