Susi Air Orders An AW119 Ke And A Grand
AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that Susi Air (Pudjiastuti Aviation), of Indonesia, has signed a contract for two helicopters comprising one AW119 Ke single engine and one Grand light twin engine helicopter. These two helicopters are the first helicopters to enter Susi Air's modern fleet of aircraft. The AW119 Ke will be provided with a quick change interior and used to perform passenger transport, aerial work and medevac missions. The VIP-configured Grand will be used for charter flights serving VIP/corporate customers primarily in the Jakarta area.
AgustaWestland has experienced a growing success in Asia through its entire commercial helicopters range and now this order further expands the presence of the company in the region also marking the entrance of AgustaWestland products in the Indonesian helicopter market.

Founded in late 2004, Susi Air operates a large modern fleet of fixed wing aircraft providing scheduled commuter services, on demand charter services for VIPs, passengers and cargo; flight surveying, pilot training and support of fishery operations throughout Indonesia.
The AW119 Ke is AgustaWestland's answer to worldwide current customer demand for a high performance, modern, multi-role single-engine helicopter. The eight-place AW119 Ke can perform a wide range of commercial and public service roles, delivering exceptional performance under hot and high operating conditions. Over 190 AW119 helicopters have been ordered to date by almost 90 customers in over 30 countries.
The Grand is a top-of-the-range light twin helicopter offering high performance capabilities, space and payload, previously only associated with larger helicopters, whilst retaining attractive light twin economics. Typical roles include executive/VIP transport, emergency medical services (EMS) and offshore transport. The Grand has set a new standard in the VIP/Corporate transport market featuring outstanding qualities in terms of comfort and stylish interior solutions while offering the highest performance, including full Cat. A/Class 1 capability enabling it to operate from elevated helipads. Orders for over 270 helicopters have been placed by more than 140 customers in over 30 countries worldwide
