China Airlines Orders Ten Additional Telair B747 Cargo Loading Systems

China Airlines has ordered an additional six (6) complete Telair B747-400 Freighter Main and Lower Deck Cargo Loading Systems and an additional four (4) B747-400 Passenger Lower Deck Systems.

"The order of additional systems from China Airlines, a leading carrier in a major growth market for cargo, is a milestone in our long-term strategy for Asia and the Pacific Rim,� said Telair President Axel Hauner. "It acts to confirm to this critical market that our new families of lowest-weight hardware and intelligent control software provide preferred performance.�

Telair Main and Lower Deck Systems are complete solutions:

- Conveyance hardware includes steerable and in-line high-torque power drive units with unique patented intelligence.

- Proprietary control software includes a first-of-its-kind interactive on-board diagnostics system that acts to minimize maintenance downtime.

- All Telair systems offer significant weight savings, which translates into fuel savings, increased payload, or both.

- The systems will be installed at the Boeing factory in Seattle.
