Cargolux To Retrofit B747-400F Fleet With New Telair Cargo-Door Anti-Rollout Stop

MIESBACH, GERMANY, June 1, 2004: Telair International, a Teleflex Company (NYSE:TFX), announced today that Cargolux Airlines, a world-leader in air cargosystems and operations innovation, has ordered the complete retrofit of its B747-400F fleet with a new, patented, Telair design of the main-deck cargo-dooranti-rollout stop (ARO). Delivery and installation is scheduled for later this year.

The new anti-roll-out stop (Telair Part Number 270100-Series) is form and fit interchangeable with original equipment. It introduces enhanced features and functions that make it inherently more robust and safer to use. It also significantly
reduces the potential for damage to the airframe from impacts on the unit from heavy loads. Cargolux selected the new Telair ARO after extensive testing against OEM and alternative components. Installation is via STC certification.

"This is a highly notable order in that it demonstrates that Telair is on track with its strategy to successfully introduce new, unique cargo loading component designs providing substantial added value over original equipment and other alternatives, said Telair President Axel Hauner. "Our new anti-rollout stop - like other Telair replacement components - combines best-in-class functionality with a reduction in maintenance costs, all at a competitive price.

The new Telair ARO design was based on the proven Telair anti-rollout stop flying today. The design's rounded "turtle head uniquely acts to lessen damagefrom side impacts.

The new Telair ARO is fully interchangeable with Boeing Part Numbers 65B63560-1 / -2 / -6 and 457U1110-1 / -2 / -4.
