US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) and Terma have signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement.


US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) and Terma North America, Inc. signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement which allows the laboratory to use Terma's market- leading 3D-Audio technology to assess state-of-the-art capabilities for the air warriors. The USAARL research will evaluate air warrior capabilities based on Terma's combat proven capabilities in combination with tactile cueing technologies.

Terma offers the industry's only complete and operational 3D-Audio/Active Noise Reduction product, which supports dynamic/directional threat cues. Terma's solution improves situational awareness and survivability of the air warriors, while at the same time reducing the workload, improving speech intelligibility, and reducing hearing loss and fatigue.
