L-3 TRL Introduces New CATAPAN® Secure Network Solutions
Gloucestershire-based defence manufacturer L-3 TRL announced today that it is launching its next-generation CATAPAN® Secure Network Solutions at the Infosecurity Europe 2013 exhibition, Earls Court, London, 23-25 April.
These latest solutions include Mini-CATAPAN Lite, a secure voice and data device, as well as a comprehensive range of gateway and network defence capabilities and a variety of bundled airtime services. Together, they enhance L-3 TRL's existing CATAPAN portfolio by delivering more functionality with increased accessibility to secure communications.
The Mini-CATAPAN Lite desktop device was designed for applications outside of the typical office environment, providing an alternative to current legacy link-based systems. Ideal for SoHo (Small office, Home office), embassy and remote/mobile working, the Mini-CATAPAN Lite is the latest addition to the fully interoperable CATAPAN family, providing a flexible, scalable solution.
Designed to prevent emerging cyber attacks, L-3 TRL's range of Network Defence services caters to the High Assurance requirements of fixed and mobile networks, whilst its Secure Gateway Solutions provide barriers to protect vital infrastructure against attacks.
L-3 TRL's Bundled Airtime Service packages are designed to work in conjunction with CATAPAN and modem hardware, offering secure, mobile connectivity using BGAN, Thuraya, Ka-Band, cellular data and public Wi-Fi. A number of "out-of-the-box" dedicated service packages are available to ensure the highest levels of security for individual requirements.
