QANTAS Orders Sliding Carpet Loading Systemsâ„¢ For New B737-800 Aircraft
Telair International announced today that it has received a firm order from QANTAS Airways for additional ten (10) shipsets Sliding Carpet Loading Systems to be installed in the airlines latest batch of new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Installation will take place at Boeing facilities as Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) with deliveries beginning in February 2005 and continuing throughout the year.
The order brings the number of Sliding Carpet Systems serving QANTAS narrowbody aircraft to a total of over 110 forward and aft cargo compartment systems.

More than 50 carriers fly over 2500 Sliding Carpet Loading Systems with >99% reliability. The system reduces manpower costs, reduces damages to aircraft and baggage, speeds loading and unloading, and enhances operator safety.
