COJOT launches active wideband antenna to provide superior performance to VHF/UHF tactical radio systems

COJOT has developed a new type of active band switching for wideband antennas used in the VHF and UHF frequency bands. The TA30512M, a wideband vehicle antenna for the 30 - 520 MHz frequency band, is the first product launched by COJOT that features this advanced technology.

The TA30512M is a low profile whip antenna that is tuned by remote control to use the optimum matching circuitry and electrical length at a particular frequency. It features an extremely fast tuning ability, which is based on PIN diode switching technology, enabling the antenna to rapidly keep up with spontaneous frequency changes and moreover to be interoperable with radio systems using frequency hopping. The TA30512M is designed in a way that also modern wideband waveforms are supported, providing a perfect fit for new generation VHF/UHF military wideband radios.
