UTC Aerospace Systems Awarded Boeing C-17 Globemaster III MRO Landing Gear Contract
UTC Aerospace Systems has been selected by The Boeing Company to continue to provide landing gear system maintenance services in support of the United States Air Force fleet of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. Included as part of the agreement, the company will work with Hill Air Force Base personnel in Ogden, Utah, to jointly manage the C-17 workload. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
"We are pleased to have been selected by Boeing to support the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III sustainment requirements," stated Dave Castagnola, president, Landing Systems. "We look forward to the extended relationship with Boeing and Hill Air Force Base on the C-17 program which began in 2006."
