Cathay Pacific Selects TELAIR Ball Mats plus Lateral Guides for their B747-400 Passenger Aircraft
TELAIR International announced today that Cathay Pacific Airways has selected TELAIR Ball Mats to replace the existing equipment on 15 ea Boeing B747-400 Passenger aircraft for both their Fwd and Aft Cargo Compartment, plus the Lateral Guide in the Aft Cargo Compartment. The first ship set is to be delivered in April 2005 and will be installed under TELAIR STC.
This modification will improve the operation of the ULD's and ease the workload for the loading personnel. Cathay Pacific made the selection after an extensive review and evaluation of alternative proposals from the cargo system providers.
