STASYS ACQUISITION COMPLETED
Farnham, 4 March 2005 - STASYS' new Board officially met for the first time on 28 February 2005 on completion of the acquisition of STASYS Limited by Lockheed Martin Corporation. Julian Ranger, STASYS' Managing Director, and Stan Sloane, Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Solutions (IS&S), welcomed the move which was completed two months after the initial announcement of the purchase. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The organisation will now be known as Lockheed Martin STASYS Limited and will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin UK Holdings Limited. Lockheed Martin IS&S - based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - will manage all operational aspects of the business. STASYS Inc in the USA will be renamed Lockheed Martin STASYS Consulting Inc, and STASYS Australia will become Lockheed Martin STASYS Australia Pty Limited.
STASYS will carry on providing high-quality impartial and pragmatic advice to its Customers around the world, and will be able to benefit from Lockheed Martin's expertise and resources.
