Qantas Selects TELAIR Control Equipment to alter their A330 Cargo Loading Operation
TELAIR International announced today that Qantas has selected TELAIR Control equipment to alter the loading operation in their A330-200/ -300 Passenger aircraft. The first set of equipment is to be installed in Oct. 2005 under TELAIR STC.
This order includes the delivery of a Joystick and a Control Box for the Aft Cargo Compartment. When installed, the operation of the ULD's from inside the doorway, through it's visibility to the loading personnel, will improve the safety for the people and the equipment.
"TELAIR International is extremely proud that Qantas has selected Telair International for the delivery of that equipment�, said TELAIR President Axel Hauner.
"TELAIR's new control box is form, fit & function interchangeable and will replace the currently installed serial production unit and therefore offering A330 / A340 operators an alternate spare part source too.
