Air France Selects Telair Cargo Loading Systems For B747-400SF Conversions

Telair International announced today it has been selected from Air France in Paris for main deck cargo loading systems serving the airline's conversion of three (3) B747-400 former Combi, which are currently in all-passenger configuration into B747-400 Special Freighters. The conversions are scheduled to take place between January 2007 and December 2007.

The order is an addition to the existing five (5) Telair systems, which Air France has already installed in their fleet of B747-400ERF aircraft.

"Air France is one of the most distinguished carriers in the world, and their validation and selection of our cargo systems for these conversions demonstrates again that Telair will lead this market by offering both the best technology and the best 24/7 service worldwide, said Axel Hauner, Telair President. "The fact that this prestigious customer continues to invest in our technology and service speaks strongly of what Telair brings to the industry today and will continue to do so in the future.

The Telair B747-400SF main systems are differentiated by their low weight, robust design, intelligent self-protecting power drive units, and state-of-the-art built-in-test (BITE) diagnostics that acts to minimize system downtime.
