Boeing [NYSE: BA], the world's leading aerospace company, has selected Aviall Services, Inc. [NYSE: AVL] as a partner in Boeing's Integrated Materials Management (IMM) program designed to maintain an airline's inventory of maintenance supplies, including spare parts, and reduce the airline's cost of doing business.
Aviall is the world's largest independent provider of new replacement parts and related supply chain services to the aviation aftermarket. Aviall Services, Inc. markets and distributes products for about 220 manufacturers and offers approximately 650,000 catalog items from 37 customer service centers in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The intent of the IMM program is to help airlines avoid the cost of holding inventory, address problems associated with spare parts obsolescence, and improve the productivity of its materials management. Aviall's complete set of supply chain and logistics benefits includes order processing, stocking and fulfillment, automated inventory management, and reverse logistics to OEMs and other customers.
