ATLAS ELEKTRONIK at IDEAS, Karachi and INDODEFENCE in Jakarta
The year 2006 is fading out very busy, so it does the exhibition calendar likewise. During these days ATLAS ELEKTRONIK has the opportunity to attend at two interesting Naval Defence Shows. Firstly we will be at IDEAS, Karachi from 21st to 24th November 2006, where the Karachi Expo Center will be the venue. At IDEAS we will introduce our competence in underwater defence technology with ISUS90 combat system and its modular open system architecture. But the main focus is on torpedo technology. German heavyweight torpedo design sets the standards as the main weapon for modern submarines. The torpedoes DM2 A4 / SEAHAKE mod4 currently under series production are the main weapons of submarines designed and made as well in Germany as in other countries.
At INDODEFENCE in Jakarta, the second coming event at Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Indonesia during 22-25 November 2006, ATLAS will display its other competencies for naval surface combatants. NEPTUN - the Warship Electronic Chart Display and Information System (WECDIS) , which successfully went through the type approval process for ECDIS at German Authorities and COSYS, the command and fire control system will be the highlights at this venue. The exhibit display will be complemented with vehicles of the ATLAS UUV family.
