RESON to show mine, diver & contraband detection equipment at IDEX 2009
Danish company, RESON A/S, world leading manufacturer of underwater acoustic sensors, echosounders, multi-beam sonar systems, transducers & hydrophones, will be demonstrating at IDEX 2009 the effectiveness of SeaBat 7128 high-resolution forward-looking sonar system in detecting mine and contraband, and the SeaBat 7112 multi-beam sonar in diver detection.
Responsible for the RESON stand this year at IDEX is Richard Bell-Davies, Business Development Director - Defence and Security. Richard joined RESON in November from the UK Navy where he was a Captain. He has served in mine hunters, frigates, destroyers and an aircraft carrier. He is a mine warfare and anti-submarine specialist with two Sea Commands and has tracked submarines with active and passive sonar, cleared live minefields, located aircraft black boxes, and seen action in the Falklands War.
