ATLAS ELEKTRONIK, a Bremen-based company with a long and rich tradition, invests in a new presentation and simulation centre
Leading high-tech company ATLAS ELEKTRONIK opened its new presentation, simulation and integration centre "ATLAS World� today.
The Managing Directors of ATLAS, Dieter Rottsieper and Kai Horten, officially opened the new facility together with Ralf Nagel, Bremen's Senator for Economic Affairs and Ports, and Captain Werner Lüders, Director of Naval Armaments and Logistics for the German Navy. The event was attended by some 80 representatives of politics and industry in Bremen, of the German Navy as well as of universities and the shareholders.
Covering several hundred square metres, ATLAS World is a presentation centre in which ATLAS will be able to showcase and demonstrate its products and systems from the world of naval technology. The exhibits will include, for example, long-range sonars, command systems for submarines and surface vessels, unmanned underwater vehicles, and systems for detecting and destroying sea mines. Complex systems for monitoring and securing harbours and coasts will also be on display.
