Smiths Detection sets up Global Government Relations Office
Smiths Detection today announces the opening of a global Government Relations office, based in Brussels, to help facilitate its work on advanced security solutions with civil and military authorities worldwide.
Stephen Phipson, President of Smiths Detection, said: "As the global leader in regulated CBRNe technologies, we believe it is vital to maintain high-level relationships with regulators and policy makers around the world. Opening a Brussels office underlines our commitment to developing a long-term working relationship with the EU to help formulate policy and regulation for the protection of critical national infrastructure."
