RESON to exhibit military and security applications for commercial-off-the-shelf sonars at MAST, Stockholm
RESON, a world-leading manufacturer of high resolution multi-beam sonars will be exhibiting the military and security applications of their commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) products at MAST, Stockholm on the 21-23 October.
RESONS COTS sonars have evolved from their original civil applications to detecting mines at the same ranges as a modern mine hunter - but at a fraction of the cost. The same technology is also now being applied to the homeland security role and they are even capable of detecting contraband, the size of a household brick on the sea floor.
RESON will be exhibiting the SeaBat 7128, Forward Looking Imaging Sonar with a dual capability in both mine and contraband detection and the SeaBat 7112 surveillance sonar.
RESON would like to invite members of the press to visit the stand to discuss any of the applications and the results of recent trials in the UK and Italy.
