RESON A/S are exhibiting a new sonar systems at UDT 2010.

Danish company, RESON A/S, world-leading manufacturer of high quality underwater acoustic sensors, echosounders, multi-beam sonar systems, transducers & hydrophones, will be exhibiting their next generation waterside security sonar systems at the forthcoming UDT EUROPE 2010 - Undersea Defence Technology Conference and Exhibition in Hamburg, Germany from the 8th to the 10th June, 2010.

On display on Stand no D54 is:

RESON's Waterside Security Systems are designed with realistic environmental conditions in mind, and are based on RESON's next generation 7k architecture, which gives them the advantage of being interchangeable, sharing a common data format, and a common user interface. They are ideal for incorporation into a waterside security solution and for mine countermeasures.

· The SeaBat 7111 operates at 100 kHz and illuminates a 150° or 210° horizontal sector. This system is an excellent low-cost solution for both fixed and mobile waterside security applications.

· The SeaBat 7112 offers 360° coverage at 100 kHz and can detect intruders at ranges of up to 700 meters in favourable environmental conditions. This system may be permanently mounted on the sea floor with an acoustic release for maintenance and recovery, or may be mounted on a pole or hoist affixed a vessel.

· The SeaBat 7122 is dual-frequency (100 kHz or 400 kHz) sonar that illuminates a 128° horizontal sector. The SeaBat 7122 is the most versatile member of RESON's waterside security sonar family. It can be used both as a stand-alone system and also to provide intruder interception and classification capability when used in conjunction with a stationary installation.

· The SeaBat 7123 is an advanced, COTS-based, high-resolution triple frequency sonar-suitable for both commercial and military applications. Commercial uses include super high-resolution micro-bathymetry, offshore underwater inspections and detailed pipeline surveys as mandated by recently enacted environmental laws. This application requires a special bottom detection algorithm.
Military uses include MCM and waterside security applications, and require a special purpose beam former. The SeaBat 7123 is suitable for retrofit or upgrade of existing mine hunting platforms, and maximizes platform safety by increasing the stand-off range to more than 500m.

· The SeaBat 7128 is a forward-looking sonar system provides detection and high- resolution images of intruders, allowing rapid and accurate classification. It operates at 200 or 400 Hz and illuminates a 128-degree horizontal sector.

· HydroBat - a high-resolution multi-beam echo-sounder. This new cost-efficient sonar, bridges the gap between single-beam echo-sounders and high resolution multi-beam sonar systems. HydroBat - is an entry-level multi-beam system operating at 160 kHz and covers a swath of 120°. Ideal for near-shore surveying.
It is not only compact and easy to use, but the software interface is intuitive, and as with all our products, we offer online support to our clients, wherever they may be.
